FECAVA Visual Identity
Designing the visual identity for FECAVA was more than just a creative brief—it was a personally significant project that deeply resonated with my values. As someone who cares about animal welfare, I felt honored to contribute to an organization that supports veterinarians and promotes the health and well-being of companion animals across Europe.
This project allowed me to combine my skills in brand design with my passion for meaningful, socially impactful work. The goal was to create a professional yet empathetic visual identity that reflects FECAVA’s role as both a scientific authority and a compassionate advocate for animals and the people who care for them.

The Challenge
The client initially expressed a strong preference against animal symbols, a key element in the original logo. While I presented options reflecting this request, I sensed a deeper concern – the desire to avoid overly literal imagery. My final proposal, focusing on abstract forms and evocative symbolism, resonated with the client's vision, leading to a quick and positive decision.

Old Logo
The Process
The logo is built around two symbolic elements:

The Pointer Dog Silhouette
Chosen for its strong yet approachable form, the pointer represents the values I associate with veterinary professionals:
Intelligence, Loyalty, Affection, Focus, Sociability, Versatility, Adaptability, and Devotion.
These are qualities that define not only the breed but the spirit of veterinarians and their bond with animals.
The Cat’s Nose
As a secondary element, I included a minimal interpretation of a cat’s nose—soft, perceptive, and intuitive.
It reflects Compassion, Sensitivity, and Refined Care—adding emotional depth to the identity.
Its triangular form also nods subtly to the European star, connecting FECAVA’s mission to its continental scope and identity.

The color palette draws from the official EU colors, grounding the identity within a recognizable European visual context while maintaining warmth and approachability.
Results
This refreshed identity builds on FECAVA’s visual legacy while introducing a more symbolic and emotionally resonant form. Combining the silhouette of a pointer dog with a cat’s nose that subtly echoes a European star, the logo reflects loyalty, compassion, and care. Designed to function both externally and internally, it supports FECAVA’s mission while creating space for emotional connection—especially around the important topic of mental health within the veterinary community.
Logo Application & Brand System
To ensure clarity and consistency across all touchpoints, I developed a comprehensive brand book detailing the correct and incorrect usage of the FECAVA logo. This guide supports both internal and external teams in maintaining visual integrity.
Beyond the core identity, I designed a full suite of branded materials—including stationery, banners, posters, and internal documents—to ensure the logo functions seamlessly across digital, print, and event environments. Every element was crafted to reflect FECAVA’s values while remaining practical and adaptable for daily use.
FECAVA Congress
A key focus was the FECAVA Congress, one of the organization's most important events. I designed a full suite of congress materials, including: Exhibition stands, ID badges, Business cards, Flag poles, Merchandise.

These elements, alongside stationery, posters, banners, and internal documents, created a cohesive and flexible identity system—capable of conveying both professionalism and warmth in every setting.
Website
Following the successful rebrand, FECAVA entrusted me with designing their new website—a natural extension of the visual identity and brand values.

The site was designed to put veterinary care front and center, reflecting FECAVA’s mission with clarity and empathy. Key features include a strong focus on the FECAVA Congress, as well as easy access to their monthly newsletter, helping professionals stay informed and connected.

The design continues the brand's visual language with clean structure, accessible typography, and a thoughtful balance of information and warmth—ensuring it serves both veterinary professionals and the wider public.
